The CPR and LVR course is essential if you are conducting live work or working with live switchboards. The course covers the performance of rescue procedures from a live Low Voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the workplace.
It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from a live LV panel and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions. It encompasses responsibilities for, health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work. Completing the course will provide an individual with the skills and knowledge to carry out and complete the LV panel rescue procedures and to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a casualty in a range of situations. It consists of real-life practical skills and knowledge to allow the participant to be assessed as competent in providing CPR in line with
Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines as well as rescue procedures from an LV apparatus. Low voltage rescue comprises responsive operations that involve the saving of life, or prevention of injury during an incident or dangerous situation.
It is recommended that this course be renewed every 12 months, in line with industry standards. The CPR Certificate is issued by our Training Partner, Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO #90909.

Students unable to meet the above requirements on the day will have to reschedule in-person training.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may require in-person course bookings to be rescheduled. To reschedule an in-person course, please email us at admin@etatraining.com.au
If we receive your reschedule request 2 or more business days prior to a course, no fees will apply.
If you withdraw less than 2 days prior to your course, or fail to turn up on the day of your training, no refunds can be given.
All requested changes to a booking must be made in writing. In the event of a cancellation request by a customer, a voucher will be issued to the value of the amount paid. This voucher can be used to book any future courses with us.
In most cases, Low Voltage Rescue & CPR certificate will be issued electronically within 24 hours of successful course completion. However, in rare cases, there may be delays processing your grades in which case your certificate may be later than 24 hours. If you are not successful in completing the course, you will not receive a certificate.
The Low Voltage Rescue certification must be completed every twelve months and the CPR certification lasts for twelve months.

The first part of the course is the online component which takes around 2 hours and needs to be completed in your own time. Then you attend the in-person classroom component to complete your practical assessment which takes 1.5 hours.
